School News

Peachland Polkton had a surprise visit on Friday, August 29th.  Anson Senior High Football Players, along with Coach Luke Hyatt, came and greeted students as they entered campus.  The football players opened car doors for our car riders, met students coming from the bus lot and participated in the Pledge of Allegiance during the morning announcements.  We thank them so much for taking the time to come out and make our first week at school the BEST one yet!!  To see more pictures taken from this special day, please click on the PPES Photo Album on the left of our homepage.

Elementary students throughout Anson County were recognized at Friday night's Anson vs. South Stanly home football game on September 5th.  During halftime, students from each elementary school walked around the track of the football field with banners and posters.  Peachland-Polkton Elementary students released blue and white balloons when finishing their walk.  Thank you to the parents, staff, and students at PPES who came out and supported our school and the BEARCATS!!  To view more pictures from this event, please click on our PPES Photo Album and look for Elementary Night-Football Game
